Field season is basically here, and I am ready to get out of the office. Most of us have our plot maps made already, but we all have a few trials that slipped through the cracks. One great tool, especially for on-farm research, is the Ohio State PLOTS app.
PLOTS can help you design a randomized, replicated field trial. If you save your trial design and input your data, it will analyze your data and produce a summary report. This is a great tool if you have a producer looking to add a last minute strip trial to their farm, since it’s so easy to use. If they need a hand, you can set up trials with them and share the trail design through PLOTS. They can send you summary reports, too.
You can learn more about PLOTS here in a CORN newsletter article. What other research tools are you using at this time of year?
